The Urbanization of Mas Fumats located In the charming Seaside resort of Roses, Girona, has its roots in the second half of the twentieth Century. Initially the area was mainly rural characterized by vast agricultural land and panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Over time the influx of tourism in the region especially on the Costa Brava has aroused a growing interest in the development of Mas Fumats as a residential enclave.

The urbanization process has been progressing and planning. Régulations have been put in place to ensure smooth intégration with the natural environment to preserve local identity.
